We stayed for a week and used it as a base to visit family in the area. The spacious accommodation was beautifully designed and had all the necessary equipment in the kitchen. We appreciated the thoughtful touches like the seating outside the cottage and the half net curtains for privacy while still enjoying the countryside views. The hosts were incredibly accommodating and made a last-minute change with no issues. We also loved the small caravan site they run, which looked like a great place to stay. The countryside surroundings, peaceful atmosphere, and fantastic views added to the charm of our stay. The children had a blast playing with Oscar, the friendly dog, and watching the alpacas. It was truly a fun-filled half-term break for us.
Would be happy to recommend this hotel.

We had a great time during our romantic escape. the cottage was lovely and clean, perfect for our needs. We also enjoyed the fact that there was plenty of space and a nice little play area. We were pleasantly surprised by the close proximity to lots of lovely places, making it convenient for day trips. the cherry on top was the adorable resident dog who entertained us throughout our stay.
That the campsite was quite small, but it didn't bother us much since we were always out exploring. the town nearby had limited attractions.

We did encounter a few minor drawbacks during our stay. the property was a bit dated throughout and could use some updates and a fresh, modern touch.

The location was ideal for our visit to a nearby attraction, just a short bus ride away, saving us the hassle of driving and parking.
